Descendant Pair Density Wave Order from an Unconventional Magnetic Parent State

I will establish microscopic models without mean field bias that feature an unconventional, sometimes altermagnetic, magnetic parent state and descendant pair density wave superconducting order. I will argue how previous experiments on pair density wave order face a nearly unsurmountable challenge to discriminate pair density wave order against incipient charge order, and how an unconventional magnetic parent state relieves this ambiguity to comprehensively drive pair density wave order.
