Ferron Modes in Ferroelectric Nanostructures

Thanks to intensive studies in the past decades, the magnon modes in magnetic materials have been well understood. Their counterparts in ferroelectric materials so-called ferrons, however, have been addressed only very recently. In this talk, we will present our preliminary simulation results on polarization dynamics in ferroelectric nanostructures. The ferron modes and their detailed dynamics under different configurations will be explicitly analyzed.
